Product Description
X-Flam XP is a prescription pain-management tablet formulated with an NSAID, an analgesic-antipyretic, and a proteolytic enzyme support. It is positioned for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and soft-tissue conditions, with physician-directed use in adult patients.
Composition
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Aceclofenac IP 100 mg
- Paracetamol IP 325 mg
- Serratiopeptidase IP 15 mg
(as enteric-coated granules equivalent to 30,000 units)
Mechanism of Action
Aceclofenac is a preferential COX-2 inhibitor that reduces prostaglandin synthesis, helping control pain and inflammation. Paracetamol provides central analgesic and antipyretic action, including effects through central prostaglandin inhibition and descending serotonergic pathways. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme used for its proposed anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, and analgesic support, although its exact mechanism is not fully established.
Indications / Uses
- Musculoskeletal pain with inflammation
- Soft tissue injury-related pain and swelling
- Back pain, sprains, strains, and traumatic pain
- Osteoarthritis and other inflammatory joint conditions, as prescribed
- Pain associated with orthopedic or minor procedural conditions, on physician advice
Key Benefits / USPs
